In March of 1775, Judge Richard Henderson and members of the Transylvania Land Company met with principal leaders of the Cherokee to negotiate the Treaty of Sycamore Shoals which resulted in the largest private land purchase in American history. Join us as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of this significant part of the Sycamore Shoals story.
